Alpha is at your service to provide a permanent record of any event you may be involved with. We can help you plan the day, assist with computer and video projector hire, if required, and unobtrusively capture events. After the shooting comes the real work. Tasks like music video clips generally take 2 hours for each minute of finished video to complete.
Your choice of music, and titles can be added to enhance the project.
If you have already taken the video, we can arrange post-production for you as well.
What You Get
Included in the price are:
- Up to three copies of the finished video
- Printed colour covers with video cases
- We retain a digital master tape, in case more copies are required at a later date ($55 extra)
- A special viewing, if required, at Alpha's own theatrette including seating and drinks for 10 people.
Our Equipment
Alpha uses the latest high quality digital video cameras for all projects. The video is then transferred by FireWire to Macintosh G4 computers running Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
As the vision and sound is transferred digitally, superb quality is maintained from start to finish. Ninety nine audio and video tracks can be separately edited and controlled using the G4. Existing video can also be digitised and included, as well as still pictures, if required.
The digital video is then edited on computer, and output to a digital master tape. VHS, SVHS or DVD copies are then made for you to use or distribute.
Prices and Charges
Videography: $210 per hour, per camera person
Post Production: $47.50 per page titles, $210 per hour for adding special effects, fades, digital mixing of multiple sources.
Presentation Equipment Rental: $295 per day for projector
Video Tapes & Duplication: $47.50 per additional VHS/DVD copy.
Video Service Discount Packages (call for details)
LECTURE: $1550 incl projector hire, 1 hr of single camera video, opening titles and master.
PERFORMANCE: $2100 for two hours with 3 cameras, 25 copies of final video/dvd, including colour covers
WEDDING: $2850 includes 3 camera ceremony, 2 camera reception and 1 camera for everything else up to 12 hours in total. 8 days post-production editing and 3 VHS/DVD copies with colour covers.
